Insulating concrete forms (ICFs) are expanded polystyrene panels that are stacked into the shape of the exterior walls of a building. Steel rebar is installed as the panels are stacked. Concrete is then poured inside, creating a foam-concrete sandwich. The result is a house or commercial building that is exceptionally strong, energy efficient, quiet, comfortable, and durable, that can be built in any style.<\/p>\n
IntegraSpec\u00ae is an Insulated\u00a0Concrete Form (ICF) consisting of\u00a02 panels of expanded polystyrene\u00a0(EPS) married with high impact\u00a0polystyrene inserts used to hold\u00a0patented webs\/ spacers designed\u00a0to secure rebar as needed.\u00a0Once stacked together, these forms\u00a0represent a mold ready for concrete\u00a0placement, similar to a traditionally\u00a0poured concrete wall; however,\u00a0ICF forms never leave the concrete.<\/p>\n
